CNC Machinist

Job Type: Full-time

Full Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for setting up new jobs in four jaw chucks and being able to setup parts for repair. Programming mills, lathes and grinders along with operating them. Read prints and follow work order travelers. Execute the job in the time allowed on the traveler – or provide feedback on the issues. Perform quantity check on orders leaving the department to ensure that all orders meet specifications. Light preventative maintenance on the machines that they use. Maintain a clean, orderly work area – includes taking out the trash and cleaning the toilet after yourself. G & M Code programming along with learning the MasterCam package for machines.

Being Part of the HTS Coatings Team includes: Communicate with and provide input to supervisor, regarding production needs, new projects, and design changes. Continuous Improvement is highly encouraged.

Be involved in the daily morning meetings – offer suggestions and participate.

Thermal Spray Technician

Maintain a clean, orderly work area – includes taking out the trash and cleaning the toilet after yourself. Learn the thermal spray systems: HVOF, ARC, HVAF, Flame, & Plasma. Understand grit blast. Be able to program a robot for spray. Communicate with and provide input to supervisor, regarding production needs, new projects, and design changes. Continuous Improvement is highly encouraged. Be involved in the daily morning meetings – offer suggestions and participate. Become a sounding board for sales on times to complete projects. Must report to work on time. Be willing to help wherever necessary. Always be professional – especially while receiving correction. High productivity – getting the work completed that has been assigned to you. Teamwork – be willing to help others and being a part of the HTS Coatings family. Determined to succeed – must show drive and a passion for your work. Give suggestions for improvement in any area.
