Hardface Welding

PTA, TIG, and MIG overlay welding for repair and wear protection.

High-performance weld overlays deposited with precision to create durable surfaces designed for demanding industrial applications.

Three welding methods in-house:

  • PTA (Plasma Transferred Arc) our most precise overlay process. Minimal dilution, tightly controlled bead, reproducible across production runs.

  • TIG — manual precision for complex geometries and small-feature work.

  • MIG — higher deposition for larger wear pads and straightforward fill.

Alloys we stock: Stellite 1, Stellite 6, and Stellite 12, Colmonoy 6, Colmonoy 5, and Colmonoy 88, Wallex 50 & Wallex 55, and Tungsten carbide.

As an ASME Section IX-Certified welding facility, we provide precision weld overlays for components across a variety of industries. Combined with our in-house machining and grinding capabilities, we deliver finished parts built to your exact specifications.

The HTS Thermal Spray Processes

PTA Plasma Transferred Arc Welding
TIG Clean, precise tungsten inert-gas welding for thin sections, fine repairs, and finish passes.
MIG Fast, efficient wire-fed metal inert-gas welding for build-up and structural work.
Spray & Fuse Spray & Fuse
Stellite Cobalt-based hardfacing alloy prized for extreme wear, heat, and corrosion resistance.
Colmonoy Nickel-based hardfacing alloy for abrasion and corrosion resistance across a wide range of parts.
Tungsten Carbide One of the hardest coating materials available — maximum abrasion resistance for high-wear surfaces.
Wallex Cobalt-based Wall Colmonoy alloy for wear and corrosion resistance in demanding service.

Reduce Downtime. Increase Performance.

Whether you're extending the life of an existing component or improving the performance of a new one, our team is ready to recommend the right thermal spray solution for your application.
